Elvan Gıda, which started out first as a store in Istanbul in 1952, continues its journey filled with sweets today with 6 factories in Turkey and 2 factories abroad and more than 1500 employees that transformed it into an international brand; parallel to its increasing product range it has become a group of companies with the establishment of Elvan Gıda, Cici Çikolata, ANL Gıda, Cicisüt, Intersweet, Element and Ahmet Hamdi Makine companies.
Intersweet, which is also a company affiliated with Elvan Group of Companies is currently the second biggest exporter company in its sector in Turkey exporting to more than 100 countries within 5 continents and a turnover that exceeds 150 million $.
The group procures raw materials through the company entitled Element Gıda; pst and milk powder production is carried out via the company entitled Cici Süt; and new technologies needed for production are developed through the company entitled Ahmet Hamdi Makine.
Elvan Group, which owns the brands Cici, Elvan, ANL, Cicisüt; expands its product categories through the new investments that it makes with each passing day and a product range that includes cakes, croissants, jelly, chocolate, wafers, bars, milk powder and pst. The company entitled Cici Çikolata San. ve Ticaret A.Ş., which joined Elvan Group in 2010 was selected as Turkey’s third fastest growing company with the 1856% growth rate it has attained in 2013.
With the Research and Development Center that has become active in 2012, Elvan is rightly proud to have established the first Research and Development Centerr in Turkey within the food sector.
Elvan Gıda has entered the “Global 100” list prepared each year by Industry and lists the World’s Best Confectionery Companies in 2013 with a ranking at 81st place and thereby carried its success within the sector to international platforms; moreover it has been included within the Turquality brand support program, which aims to establish world renown brands from Turkey.
