Policies for Candy Baskets, sweet gifts with a twist

Your satisfaction is very important to us. We are confident you will be pleased with the design, quality and delivery of your candy basket arrangement. All products ordered from Candy Baskets are 100% guaranteed. Customer Service is our # 1 priority. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, please return your order in its original packaging and Candy Baskets will refund your order in full or replace it with a product of your choice that is of equal value. If you would like to request a credit or replacement, you must contact us within 7 days of the delivery date. Please keep in mind that circumstances beyond our control may occur, such as - inaccurate delivery address information, weather and availability of recipient to receive the package. No refunds or replacements will be issued for orders returned to us due to inaccurate delivery address information or availability of the recipient to receive the package. UPS charges us a $15 dollar return delivery fee. We also have to pay the initial shipping fee when the order originally shipped out (UPS will not refund us), and many of the items are perishables. Therefore, no refunds or replacements will be issued for orders returned to us due to inaccurate delivery address information or availability of the recipient to receive the package. We do not require a signature on any of our deliveries. Shipments that do not require a signature can be left in a safe place, out of sight and out of weather, at the UPS driver's discretion. This could include the front porch, side door, back porch, garage area, or with a neighbor or leasing office.

 

Shipping & Delivery
Candy Baskets delivers its packages through UPS to ensure your order is delivered on time.

All bows and ribbons are hand made and each Candy Basket includes a hand written personal message card.

All orders are shipped out of Collegeville, PA.

Orders received before 2:00pm EST are shipped same business day.
Orders received after 2:00pm EST are shipped next business day.

During the warm summer months, the shipping cut-off on Fridays is 12 noon.

Shipments within the United States only.

Orders can not be shipped to PO Boxes.

 

UPS

Real time UPS shipping rates and delivery dates are calculated on the 1st checkout page.

Delivery Options:

  • Future Delivery (Monday-Friday Only)
  • No Sunday or holiday deliveries

Once your order ships you will receive an email with your UPS Tracking Number. The subject of the email will be UPS Ship Notification. Please check the email address provided on the order, including any spam folders. Click on the Tracking Number to track your order. You will only receive 1 email. The delivery date is also listed on your receipt.

 

UPS does not pick up on weekends or use weekend days in their travel calculations. All travel calculations are figured using business days. Example: order placed on Saturday using UPS 2nd day air, will be picked up by UPS on Monday and delivered on Wednesday. We do not offer same day candy delivery service. For future deliveries, we use UPS Ground. UPS does not deliver Ground on weekends, so future deliveries are Monday-Friday only.

 

Other than Next Day Air Saver deliveries which are delivered by 3 pm to commercial addresses, shipments are generally delivered anytime between the hours of 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. or later to residences, and by close of business for commercial addresses. UPS can not schedule a specific delivery time within that window.

 

For deliveries to commercial addresses many times UPS is instructed to deliver all packages to the company's mail room. This is for security and logistic reasons. This is dictated by the company. Not by UPS and not by Candy Baskets. Candy Baskets claims no responsibility for the mail room delivering the package to the final recipient.

 


 

For candy delivery to warmer climates, all boxes are lined with insulation and ice packs are inserted to protect against heat damage. All at no extra cost to our customers!

 

Although we provide ice packs and cooler bags at no additional cost, in the heat the chocolates can become soft, so we place a flyer in each box with the following message:

 

ATTENTION! ATTENTION! PLEASE READ! NO REFUNDS IF THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT FOLLOWED. Candy Baskets takes great care in insulating your gift basket with Thermal Shields and Ice Brix. In hot weather your candy may still be soft and the Ice Brix may even be warm to the touch. We recommend placing any chocolate products, or the entire candy basket, in the refrigerator and waiting at least 60 minutes before opening. Taking this simple extra step will make your candy experience more enjoyable.
